These scholarships are open to a wide range of applicants, including trade school students, because we recognize the value of all forms of education in building a brighter future. Eligibility:

Applicants must be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in a 2-or 4-year technical or accredited college (undergraduate or graduate) in Fall 2026. Applicant must be at minimum a senior in high school or older (no maximum age).

Applicant must have their own membership with Eagle Community Credit Union. If you are not yet a member, you can complete our online membership application, or visit one of our five branches.

Member must be in good standing and be the primary owner of an active membership.

Eagle CCU employees and members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee and their immediate family members (or household members in the same residence) are not eligible.
The scholarship award will be issued in the form of a check made payable jointly to the recipient and their school.
How to apply
STEP 1
Get a (digital) copy of your most recent high school or college transcript.
STEP 2
Write a 500-1,000 word essay on the following topic. Submissions under 500 words will not be accepted:
Please write a personal essay describing your journey that has inspired you to pursue higher education. Tell us about who you are, where you plan to attend (or currently attend) college, and why you chose your school and/or major.
Share the experiences, challenges, or influences that have helped shape your goals. We want to understand what motivates you, what you’ve overcome, and how your journey has prepared you for the path ahead.
Finally, tell us about the impact you hope to make—both in your future career and in your community. How do you plan to give back or make a meaningful difference? We’re especially interested in learning how your goals align with Eagle Community Credit Union’s commitment to supporting and strengthening the community.

2026 Eagle Scholarship Application
Applications are accepted through June 30th, 2026
All applications will be reviewed for completeness and content. Failure to meet any of the stated requirements will result in automatic disqualification. Applications will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on thoroughness, thoughtfulness, and relevance. Scholarship recipients will be announced in late July. Scholarship funds will be awarded via checks made payable to both the student and the school. Selected winners may also be invited to serve as an associate member of Eagle’s Board of Directors.
